The Gillette Wild’s first annual Main Camp was a success! Held at the Rogers Activity Center in Minnesota from July 25th–27th, the camp featured four Wild teams along with two teams from the MN Blue Ox Jr. and Walser programs. The Wild rosters were a mix of returning players, tendered players, future prospects, and athletes looking to showcase their abilities. Most games were played with a running clock, giving players valuable opportunities to display their skills for coaches and scouts. On Sunday, the “All-Star” game capped things off with a competitive battle between the Blue Ox Juniors and a Wild team made up of returning players and newly signed talent.
The Wild would like to thank MN Blue Ox Hockey for joining us. Their participation not only made the camp possible but also created a more competitive atmosphere. We also want to thank all the players, fans, parents, and support systems whose commitment and effort made this camp a success!
In addition, the Gillette Wild competed in the Blue Ox Invitational during the weekend of August 22nd. Featuring the Wild’s 2025–26 returning and signed players, the team finished 4th out of 10. We’d like to thank the Blue Ox once again for hosting and providing such a great opportunity for our players to skate together against new competition.
