Wild Read for Hockey Month

Jan 29, 2012

Last week some players from the Gillette Wild spent their mornings at Prairie Wind Elementary School.  It was Hockey month at Prairie Wind and so the player read Hockey related books and stories to the students.  They read to a few classes in each grade which included kindergartners through sixth graders over two mornings.  All of the players had a great time, each student was also given a ticket to last weekend’s games."The kids were really excited to have them here, and to be able to meet and interact with the players was great", said the librarian.
