Head Coach Brendon Hodge and the Gillette Wild are proud to announce the acquistion of Defenseman Gennadi Zabeline from the Euless, TX Junior Stars. Zabeline had 15 points in 46 games for the Cincinatti Swords, 6 of which came on the Powerplay. Gennadi joins former Cincinatti Teammate Tim VanTuinen on the Gillette Wild.
Coach Hodge had this to say about the addition of the 6' 1" Defenseman, "Adding Gennadi boosts our defensive depth, as well as gives us another veteran player with experience on the powerplay."
