The Wild struggled against the Quake 8-2 in home game

The Gillette Wild's defense had a poor night, allowing the Yellowstone Quake 29 shots throughout the game. The Yellowstone Quake took the lead early in the first on a goal from Timo Pelto and never looked back.

Jack Oberg delivered for his team with 2 assists. Aaron Moots did his part, adding 2 goals and Ian Doner contributed with 3 points (2 goals, 1 assist).

In the first, Doner opened the scoring for the Quake with a goal at 0:25 with helpers from his linemates, Pelto and Stewart. Buller quickly followed with a goal at 1:05 with helpers from his linemates, Moore and Willoughby. Pelto deposited what turned out to be the game winning goal at 4:24 with assists from his linemates, Willoughby and Buller. Doner answered for the Quake with a goal at 14:56 with assists from his teammates Stewart and Schuldt.

In the second, Johnson scored a goal at 5:40 with helpers from Stewart and Doner.

In the third period, Peterson answered for Gillette with a goal at 4:00 with assists from Scoggins and Oberg. Moots quickly followed with a goal at 5:51 with helpers from his linemates, Stewart and Dumont. Willoughby deposited a goal at 8:23 with assists from Stewart and Stewart.

This loss brings the Gillette Wild’s record to (0-1-0-0).
