Gillette Wild forward Anthony Foster was awarded the NA3HL Frontier Division Bauer Hockey Star of the Week, the league announced Tuesday afternoon. The Warroad, MN, native gathered 8 points leading Gillette to a weekend series sweep over the Sheridan Hawks.
Friday night saw Foster score two goals, and assist on two others. On Saturday Foster scored a goal, and assisted on three others. He know leads the Wild in scoring, accumulating 20 points, scoring nine goals and registering 11 assists through the first ten games of the season. Foster if one of five players to currently be averaging two points per game in the NA3HL.
Forward Sky Solig was recognized with Frontier Division Honorable Mention honors. Solig, from Warroad, MN, also had an eight-point weekend. On Friday he scored a goal and assisted on four others. Saturday night Solig scored a goal and assisted on two others.
