Apr 9, 2020

Ethan Hayes has started his first season as the Head Coach and General Manager of the Gillette Wild for the 2020-2021 season. Prior to this opportunity, Hayes has acted as Assistant Coach to the Great Falls Americans for two seasons. With a lifetime of hockey experience under his belt, Hayes loved to involve himself in youth hockey programs and help his hometown varsity team whenever possible. As a player, his hockey career extended from 4 years of varsity hockey, a senior season with Wisconsin All-State Honors, and seasons playing for the Hudson Crusaders and the Northwest Wisconsin Mustangs.

Hayes has already recruited several players for this season and is excited about his new position as the Head Coach and General Manager of the Gillette Wild. “The Wild has a great base of players with a lot of talent that are eligible to return next season and could do something special”. Having spent 2 years in the Frontier Division, Hayes has previously stated that Gillette has some of the best facilities in the NA3HL and is excited to be leading the program.
