New Gillette Wild Coach

Gillette Wild announces a new Head Coach and General Manager starting 2020/2021 season.

Gillette, Wyoming, January 20: Ethan Hayes will be starting his first season as the Head Coach and General Manager of the Gillette Wild for our 2020-2021 season. Prior to this opportunity, Hayes has acted as Assistant Coach to the Great Falls Americans for two seasons. With a lifetime of hockey experience under his belt, Hayes loves to involve himself in youth hockey programs and helping his hometown varsity team whenever possible. As a player, his hockey career extended from 4 years of varsity hockey, a senior season with Wisconsin All-State Honors, well into seasons with the Hudson Crusaders and the Northwest Wisconsin Mustangs.

Hayes has already started the recruiting process for next year and is excited about his new position as the Head Coach and General Manager of the Gillette Wild. “The Wild have a great base of players with a lot of talent that are eligible to return next season and could do something special”. Having spent 2 years in the Frontier Division, Hayes stated that Gillette has some of the best facilities in the NA3HL and looks forward to leading the program in the next season. Hayes will finish his season in Great Falls before moving to Gillette. We can’t wait for him to join our team!
