Gillette Wild Forward Isaac Young was awarded the NA3HL Frontier Division Bauer Hockey Star of the Week the league announced Tuesday afternoon. The Fergus Falls, MN product was good for six points with two assists on Friday night, and another pair of assists to go along with two goals on Saturday night, as the Wild swept a division series against Sheridan.
In 29 games this season, Young now has 54 points, having scored 16 goals, and assisted on 38 others.
Forward Anthony Foster was recognized with Frontier Division Honorable Mention honors. Foster, from Warroad, MN recorded his second hat-trick of the season on Saturday night in Sheridan, and also added an assist.
In 30 games, Foster has chalked up 40 points, scoring 20 goals, and assisting on 20 others.
