Gillette Wild Forward Adam Severson was awarded the NA3HL Frontier Division Bauer Hockey Star of the Week the league announced on Tuesday afternoon. Severson, from Roseau, MN collected six points leading Gillette to a weekend series sweep over Butte.Severson scored a goal, and assisted on three others, Friday night, before assisting on two more goals Saturday. In 31 games this season, Severson has scored 18 goals, and added 29 assists.
Defenseman Wyatt Schmitz was announced as the Frontier Division 2nd Star of the Week. Schmitz, from Edina, MN scored a goal and assisted on three others Friday night. In 34 games, Schmitz has scored four goals, and assisted on 10 others.
