A stellar performance between the pipes by Alex Feese helped Gillette defeat Helena, 5-1.

Gillette put up an impenetrable defensive front on the penalty kill, and did not allow Helena to score on any of its three power plays. Gillette forced Helena goalie Adam Ranck to work between the pipes, taking 35 shots.

Helena excelled on the penalty kill, not giving up a single goal in three chances. Helena did not reach the goal total it has come to expect this season. Helena averages 3.8 goals per game. Helena kept Gillette\’s goalie busy throughout the game, and Feese made 31 saves on 32 shots.
