Gillette blows out Missoula, 5-1

Gillette was led by goalie Sean Kelley, who finished with 27 saves while allowing one goal. Kelley managed to improve on his goals against average, which stood at 2.44 prior to the game.

The Wild were led by Taylor Motsinger, who racked up one goal. Motsinger scored 12:46 into the first period to make the score 2-0 Gillette. Matt Rose assisted on the tally.

Gillette forced Missoula goalie Cody Janzen to work between the pipes, taking 40 shots.

The Maulers' offense operated below they season average. Missoula averages 4.3 goals per game.

The Maulers were led by Tyler Cosentino, who scored the team's only goal. Cosentino scored 13:39 into the first period to make the score 2-1 Gillette. Viktor Steenson picked up the assist.

The Wild incurred four minutes in penalty time with two minors. Missoula's Janzen stopped 35 shots out of the 40 that he faced. The Maulers incurred four minutes in penalty time with two minors.
