The Gillette Wild welcomes defense-man Trevor Ruiz, from Riverside California. Recently playing for the Tulsa Junior Oilers, Toledo Cherokee, and Eugene Generals just to name a few as Ruiz has been playing juniors for six years. In his spare time when he isn’t on the ice or working at Jimmy John’s, he enjoys disc golf, music, and watching movies. Boston Bruins, sushi, and The Big Lebowski are some of his favorite things. “The game of chess is like a sword fight; think first before you move.”
