A pair of Gillette Wild, Alec Waller and Cole Wheaton, were recognized with Frontier Division Honorable Mention honors, the league announced on Tuesday afternoon.
Waller, from St. Michael, MN had a goal on Saturday night as Gillette defeated Helena 2-0. In 43 games this season Waller has totaled 45 points, scoring 12 goals and assisting on 33 others.
Wheaton stopped all 43 he shots faced shutting out the Bighorns in the Saturday night victory. The Calgary, Alberta product is 13-4 for the Wild this season. Wheaton has stopped 594 of 643 shots he has faced.
