The Wild struggled against the Americans 5-1 in home game

The Gillette Wild's defense had a poor night, allowing the Great Falls Americans 34 shots throughout the game. The Great Falls Americans took the lead before the halfway point in the second on a goal from Michael Fary.

Payton Mcsharry chipped in with 3 points (2 goals, 1 assist) and Matt Janke did his part, adding 2 points (1 goal, 1 assist).

During the second period, Oberg opened the scoring for the Wild with a goal at 3:41 with helpers from Mitzel and Scoggins. Mcsharry quickly followed with a goal at 4:08 with helpers from Thomas and Goodman. Fary quickly followed with what turned out to be the game winning goal at 5:46 with assists from his linemates, Houlihan and Rath. Mcsharry put in a goal at 17:11 with helpers from his linemates, Mack and Janke.

During the third, Dearing netted a goal at 18:31 with assists from his linemates, Rinckey and Juliussen. Janke quickly followed with a goal at 18:56 with helpers from his linemates, Mack and Mcsharry.

This loss brings the Gillette Wild’s record to (14-17-2-2).
