Gillette Wild forward Sky Solig was announced as the NA3HL Frontier Division Bauer Hockey 2nd Star of the Week, the league announced Tuesday afternoon. The Warroad, MN, native recorded five points, scoring two goal, and assisting on two others, as Gillette swept the Butte Cobras this past weekend. Solig has 25 points on the season, with nine goals, and 16 assists.
Defensemen Johan Palmqvist was recognized with Frontier Division Honorable Mention honors. Palmqvist, from Linkoping, Sweden, had three points, a goal and two assists, this past weekend. For the season, Palmqvist has recorded 12 points, on three goals, and nine assists.
