Wild Coaches Participate in Wyoming Reads

May 14, 2012

On Tuesday, May 15th, both Coach Tom Winkler and Coach Nick Adamek participated in the state-wide, first grade Wyoming Reads program.

This year's event was held at Energy Hall at the Cam-Plex Multi-Events Center. Every first grader in Campbell County was given a free book, lunch, and got to see a play. Coach Winkler and Coach Adamek read to first graders from Hillcrest, Rawhide, and Paintbrush elementary schools. Both coaches said that their favorite books they read were "The Interrupting Chicken" and "Charlie the Ranch Dog." Coach Winkler was thrilled that he and Coach Adamek were able to participate. "This is a tremendous program and these teachers and educators did an awesome job of organizing this event, the kids were great and we all shared a few laughs,"

stated Winkler.
