About the Wild

In just five short seasons, the Wild have earned the AWHL organization of the year award, reached the playoffs in all five seasons, and continue to be a community leader in public service. Throughout the season the Wild volunteer at local schools, raise money for organizations such as Relay for Life, Bricks for Vets, Swing for a Cure, and the local Boys & Girls Club.

The Wild also have a history of player advancement. The Wild have had players commit to NCAA Divison III schools such as: Aurora University, Finlandia University, Milwaukee School of Engineering, Northland College and Norwich University. Other Wild players have gone on to very prestigious schools like: University of Central Oklahoma, University of Oklahoma, University of Utah, Colorado State University (ACHA Division I), University of Louisville, University of Northern Colorado, University of Wyoming, University of Nevada – Las Vegas, and Metro State University – Denver (ACHA Division II), Williston State College (NJCAA), Dakota College at Bottineau (NJCAA). The Wild have also had players tendered and drafted into the North American Hockey League (NAHL).

This season the Wild are a member of the North American Tier 3 Hockey League (NA3HL) in the Frontier Division. This provides the Wild with exciting new opportunities to advance players and to continue to improve as an organization.
